Throughout 2025, the hotel will celebrate with a year-long series highlighting the experiences, stories, and features that continue to make Chelsea a landmark destination for families, business travellers, and visitors from across the globe.

Transforming for the Future
To mark its golden milestone, the Chelsea Hotel continues an ambitious multi-million-dollar renovation that reimagines this iconic property for the future. The 2025 investment focuses on the Chelsea Tower, transforming 993 guestrooms—two-thirds of the hotel’s total room product—with a total investment of nearly $60 million.
Additional upgrades include:
- A revitalized lobby
- Extensive enhancements to the Family Fun Zone and Deck 27 (adult pool and fitness centre)
- Refreshed food and beverage concepts, including two new restaurant experiences
These upgrades follow the completion of a $25 million transformation in 2024, which modernized 600 guestrooms in the Executive Tower, refurbished hotel corridors, and upgraded meeting and banquet facilities. A $2.3 million Wi-Fi investment also ensures seamless streaming across multiple devices.
