Working at the Chelsea has given me the opportunity to apply my knowledge and develop my skills while being creative at the same time. There’s always a chance to keep learning here based on my needs. Furthermore, my colleagues are always helpful and supportive of each other, regardless of what department they are in, and they make coming to work feels easier.

Working at the Chelsea Hotel is a Community within its self. Over the years of working here many Great relationships have been formed with my colleagues from various Nations around the Globe. Chelsea Hotel has a Big Heart for Community living and giving back to Local Charities & organizations, which has inspired me to continue my Quest and love of Charity work.

I began my Chelsea experience as a Co-Op student in the Human Resources Department and upon completion of my internship, I decided to make the Chelsea Hotel my place of employment. I have held numerous positions at the Chelsea, most recent being Assistant Executive Housekeeper, Learning and Quality Manager and Human Resources Manager.

I have been working at Chelsea Hotel since 2015 and I have been blessed to have joined a wonderful environment with great leadership and a place of growth. Coming from a retail management sector for 10 years, I wanted to change to another sector. An opportunity opened in April 2015 where I was hired as a houseman. Not even a year into my position, I was recommended to become a manager. Hard work, dedication, communication and learning what roles others play in daily operations was key to my promotion. I am now the Assistant Director of Housekeeping and I am proud to be able to contribute to the ever changing and growing culture at Chelsea Hotel.
