Every October, our city comes alive with art, light, and inspiration. From 7 PM to 7 AM, Nuit Blanche transforms public spaces into extraordinary landscapes. The theme in 2026, the 20th anniversary of the festival, wass Tomorrow’s Memories. City-wide installations looked back to the artists, curators, communities and places that defined this unique event.
Steps from the activities and easily accessible by transit, Chelsea Hotel, Toronto is your perfect retreat after a night out. Start and end your adventures at The Elm Tavern, our new all-day gathering space equally inspired by British gastropubs and seasonal local ingredients.
We look forward to seeing you in 2027.
INSTALLATION AT CHELSEA TORONTO
Chelsea Toronto is pleased to be the site of Avataq Gathering, an installation by artist Couzyn van Heuvelen. It features inflated foil sculptures that reinterpret the traditional Inuit hunting tool through a blend of contemporary aesthetics and Inuit cultural traditions.
It is on display in our Gerrard Street windows from October 3 – 10. It is the companion piece to Avataq, an installation by the same artist in Nathan Phillips Square, which is also sponsored by Chelsea Toronto.
